DVD/VHS Petition and CD release

Noel & Julian said the BBC noted our petition and it did have an impact on the Radio show release, so that is fantastic news. The Head of radio entertainment who we sent it to, forwarded it on with a recommendation that it be released.

Here is a link to the DVD petition

If anything it would probably tie in with the broadcast of the 2nd series as the Little Britain releases are now.

They wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who posted cos it really did seem to make a difference.

So well done to all of us!!

Word from the Beeb...

There was going to be a Xmas special of the Boosh but there isn't now - N&J are halfway through writing the Boosh so I guess realistically it wouldn't happen in time. Wasn't sure whether to tell you all or not cos its slightly disappointing but does mean the 2nd series will be finished sooner.

BBC 2 will be running the series in the autumn - they've still not set a date - and it will more than likely be pre-watershed (before 9pm - as part of the BBCs new drive for pre-watershed comedy).

Anything else I am saving for the Stuart Murphy interview which I am just putting the finishing touches to.

Back and recovered from the festival. Just about.

New things to be put online in the next few weeks....

Paul King (director) interview
Stuart Murphy (controller of bbc3) interview
Photos from the Social
(if anyone has any they'd like put up please email

in the pipeline...

BBC2 broadcast date
Series 1 viewing figures
Simon Farnaby interview

and most importantly
Noel & Julian interview will be happening next week at long last...

Seems they've opted for calling it The Mighty Boosh to tie in with the TV show which bodes very well indeed for the release of the DVD!!
